Waynetown, Oct 6-- Mrs. Anna R. Roberts, 80, died at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday at her home here. she had been seriously ill 12 weeks. Born in Hillsboro, March 2, 1868, she was the daughter of Archibald and Harriet RUSH SMITH. In 1886 she was married to L.W. Roberts, veterinarian, who died Jan 12, 1943. She was a member of the Waynetown Christian Church. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. A daughter, Gertrude died in 1903. Short prayer services will be held at the Roberts residence at 12:30 p.m. Friday. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Lutheran church in Wallace, with burial in the adjoining Cemetery. Rev. John Servies and Rev. Floyd J. Armstrong will be in charge. Friends may call at the residence after Thursday morning

Waynetown Oct 10 -- Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Roberts were held Friday afternoon in the Lutheran church at Wallace, Rev. John Servies wasassisted by Rev. Floyd J. Armstrong. Rev. Armstrong was also pianist with Mrs. Armstrong sang Beyond the Sunset and In the Garden of Prayer. The pall bearers were Wiley Crowder; Ivoe Perigo; Walter L. Quillen; VW Swan; E,P. McCracken and Charles Hallett. The flower bearers were Mrs. Flossie Jones; Mrs. Gertrude Hallett; Mrs Lily Crowder; Mrs. Estel Perigo; Mrs. Mildred Quillen; Mrs. Frances Kunkel and Mrs. Helen Swan. Burial was in the cemetery adjacent to the church.
